The “Skansen” series is glazed with a bone
white glace with blue cobalt décor.
Our popular name mugs are part
of the Skansen series.
Here at Skansen Krukmakeri we work with two types of clay, stoneware as well as earthenware. We are inspired by traditional Swedish potters. Our goal is to create pieces which follow the old adage; form follows function. Skansen Krukmakeri pieces are beautiful, simple and functional.
We use stoneware clay to create handsome mugs, pitchers, bowls, pots, plates and a variety of other pieces. Stoneware is fired at
1260o C. These items can be washed in the dishwasher and are also safe for use in the oven and microwave. All of the decorations on the stoneware pieces has been fired into the glaze. Just use a little moist salt to remove stains.
We offer several series of pottery. Each has its own individual beauty and appeal.
The ”Skansen” series features a bone white glaze with blue cobalt decoration. Our popular name mugs are part of the Skansen series.
